I installed a 3rd party boot-loader utility to create the XP boot entry. That's fine, but when I try to boot XP, it says NTLDR is missing. As expected, if I do a repair install on XP, then Vista won't boot any more, then if I fix Vista's boot loader, then XP won't boot anymore. I'm kind of stuck in an endless loop.

Vista Boot in a Loop
The way to fix it is to boot from your Vista DVD. Since you are not savvy I will step through it. 1. Place the Vista DVD/CD in your DVD/CD drive. 2. When your computer boots up there The updates started out OK, stages 1of3 and 2of3 seemed to go ok, but....stage 3of3 is now in a continual loop???? What do I do?
